Welcome to the Shoot Your Food’s blogger. Here you will find extraordinary information, news stories, blog postings, videos, photos, and podcasts. Reposts do not equal endorsements. While Blogger provides an open forum, it is also a family friendly platform especially since Shoot Your Food loves to be the picture perfect place where everyone is welcome, so please keep your comments and wall posts clean. While Shoot your food recognizes the importance of social media, Shoot your food does allow our followers to initiate posting threads but know it is subject to these rules and to be taken down if it does not meet our standards/policies. Remember this is a picture perfect experience we want you to be able to share those moments but within reason!

November 6th Vote!

Today is the day to go out and make your voice be heard! Whether you go before work, after, or during you are doing your civil duty. After all this is a government run by the people for the people. You may think well I'm just one person what's the difference going to make? However, if everyone feels that way then only a small percentage of people will actually vote and the person you want to win won't because you didn't go. If you can't think of one reason to vote then let me give you some. If you don't vote for your  interests who will? Only 60% of people vote in the presidential election fewer vote in the midterm election. The excitement of casting your vote and the anticipation to see who wins. To honor the 2,852,901 U.S. citizens who gave their lives or have been wounded to protect the constitution that protects your right to self-determine your community, state, and nation. Hike up your food game!

Hiking is a great activity and now that it's getting cooler and the leaves are changing colors it's a great time to go enjoy the view! Water is necessary when ever your doing physical activity but what foods are? Everyone knows trail mix is a favorite for hiking. It usually contains dried fruit, nuts, and chocolate. Which are all really great! But you can also bring granola bars, jerky, seeds, pretzels, and other easy to snack on things!
