Hike up your food game!

Hiking is a great activity and now that it's getting cooler and the leaves are changing colors it's a great time to go enjoy the view! Water is necessary when ever your doing physical activity but what foods are? Everyone knows trail mix is a favorite for hiking. It usually contains dried fruit, nuts, and chocolate. Which are all really great! But you can also bring granola bars, jerky, seeds, pretzels, and other easy to snack on things! If you plan on stopping along the way or it's going to be a long hike be sure to pack a picnic. My favorite picnic food is fruit, cheese, and sandwiches. Happy Trails!
